Grades 4 – 6
At this phase learners begin to develop deeper problem solving and creative thinking skills. They are encouraged to work effectively as individuals and as part of a group. Learners must learn to identify and solve problems and make decisions using critical and creative thinking. Organise and manage themselves and activities responsibly.
Emphasis is placed on learners collecting, analysing, organising and critically evaluating information.
Our team honours every child as a unique individual, who brings their specific skills, knowledge, developing dispositions, urges and cultural heritage. We nurture a culture if kindness, love and respect for others, enabling children to learn in a physically and emotionally safe place.
Teachers develop trust and form reciprocal and responsive relationships with open, honest communication, by listening, acknowledging and appreciating children, families and colleagues.
Through research and planning we create inviting, stimulating and innovative environments where sustainable practices and thinking are fostered. The teaching team share a passion for inspiring young minds through our dedication to excellence in teaching. We believe life is a learning journey and are committed to ongoing reflection, evaluation, self review and professional development.
